Imaging and bloodwork review

Bring the imaging and bloodwork you already have. It is read before your consult and used to shape your training, with the specific markers to ask your own physician for next time.

What is imaging and bloodwork review at Doctor of Strength?

Doctor of Strength reads the imaging and bloodwork you already have before your consult, uses it to shape your training and recovery, and gives you the specific blood panel markers to request from your own physician. Decisions to order imaging, prescribe or treat stay with your physician.

Dr. LaMar Sheppard, DC

The file nobody has read in one place

Your trainer has never seen your imaging. Your physician runs labs once a year, in a short appointment. The report from the scan two years ago sits in a portal nobody opens. Each piece is real, and none of them is informing what you do on Tuesday.

This service puts them in one place. Whatever imaging and bloodwork you already have is read before you speak, rather than glanced at on the call, and it changes what your training and recovery look like that week.

What is included

  • A review of your existing records ahead of your consult: imaging reports and recent blood panels
  • The specific markers to request on your next blood panel, each with the reason it is on your list rather than somebody else’s
  • Results read against your training. When new bloodwork comes back, it is read alongside what your training and recovery are actually doing
  • A written summary where your case calls for one, so the information reaches someone who can act on it

In California and everywhere else

Dr. LaMar Sheppard is licensed to practice chiropractic in California. For clients in California he can request imaging directly. For clients everywhere else he prepares a written summary for your own physician, who decides what, if anything, to order.

Who reads it

Dr. Sheppard’s chiropractic training covers blood panels and diagnostic imaging, including X-ray, CT and MRI studies. Since 2019 he has served as an expert witness in about 200 workers’ compensation cases, which has meant reading a great many files end to end.
