Nutrition coaching

Whole-food nutrition built around the meals you actually eat: the breakfast that has to be simple, the lunch that disappears, and the family dinner.

What is nutrition coaching at Doctor of Strength?

Nutrition coaching at Doctor of Strength is whole-food based and built around the meals you actually eat, including a simple breakfast, a planned lunch and the family dinner. It is updated weekly, and supplements are used only where there is a genuine gap.

Nutrition for your real week

Most nutrition advice assumes a quiet week with time to cook. That is not the week of a man who starts with calls at six, works through lunch, and eats dinner with his family at eight.

So the plan starts from what actually happens. Breakfast has to be simple or it will not happen. Lunch disappears without a plan. Dinner is usually the most consistent meal of the week, and often someone else is cooking it.

What is included

  • Whole-food based, built around the meals you really eat
  • A breakfast that takes minutes, so it happens on the busy days too
  • A lunch plan, because it is the meal that vanishes first
  • A family dinner that works for everyone, not a separate menu for you
  • Travel and client dinners planned for, not abandoned
  • Supplements only where there is a genuine gap
  • Updated weekly, based on your check-in

Why it sits inside a strength program

Food is where training turns into progress, and where a busy week quietly undoes it. Reading nutrition next to your training, sleep and joint scores means the adjustments make sense together, rather than arriving as separate advice from separate people.

How to start

Nutrition coaching is part of Foundation 90. The free 14-day challenge includes a meal plan, if you want to try the approach first. Eating on the road has its own article: the forty-minute hotel gym plan.

Questions

About nutrition coaching

Is this a diet plan?

No. It is a plan for the meals you already eat, adjusted so they support training and recovery. The goal is capability, not a number on a scale.

What if someone else does most of the cooking?

The plan is built so it works for them as well, rather than becoming a separate menu that quietly dies in the third week.

Do I have to take supplements?

No. Supplements are only suggested where there is a genuine gap.

How often does the nutrition plan change?

It is updated weekly, based on your check-in, your training and how your week actually went.

No assessment and no pitch, just whether this is a fit. If it is not, I will say so.
